Savitska O. Everyday life of the residents of Chernihiv in 1943-1953.

In the thesis, based on documentary, oral, physical and visual sources, most of which was first introduced in the scientific turnover, the everyday life of residents of Chernihiv in 1943-1953 is comprehensively studied. The consequences of the occupation period for the city of Cernihiv, day-to-day problems generated by occupation and post-occupation periods are characterized. The features of sanitary-epidemiological situation in the city are repre-sented, and in this context the information about the health status of the population, spread of disease, the general epidemiological situation and measures for its improvement is provided. The level of planning and organization of public services in Chernihiv is clarified and the transformations of the urban environment in 1943-1953 are traced
