Subject of the study: persistent bronchial asthma of medium severity; objective - improving the treatment efficiency in patients with bronchial asthma with airways colonization with opportunistic pathogenic microflora by using a combination of an immunomodulator and antimicrobial drug product of polyvalent pyobacteriophage in complex treatment; methods of the study: generally clinical, functional, microbiological, immunological, statistical; the novelty: it have been received new scientific data about the structure and frequency of colonization of upper respiratory airways with opportunistic pathogenic microflora across patients with persistent bronchial asthma of medium severity during the aggravation and remission phase; scientific data about the peculiarities of the systemic immunity state of patients with persistent bronchial asthma of medium severity with different types of microbial colonization of upper respiratory airways have been improved4 the peculiarities of progress of bronchial asthma across patients with colonization of upper respiratory airways with opportunistic pathogenic microflora have been determined; the effectiveness of using a combination of interferon inducer with polyvalent pyobacteriophage in complex treatment of patients with persistent bronchial asthma of medium severity with colonization of upper respiratory airways with opportunistic pathogenic microflora has been scientifically justified; it has been proved that combination of interferon inducer with polyvalent pyobacteriophage in complex treatment of patients with persistent bronchial asthma allows to improve the state of microflora in the upper respiratory airways owing to eradication of potential pathogens and increase the percent of saprophytic microflora in nasal cavity and throat, normalize the immunologic indicators, reduce the clinical symptoms of asthma and the frequency of acute conditions and extend the period of remission.
