Chemerys O. Diagnosis and treatment of the disorders of the hip joints formation in newborns and infants.

Object - stage and nature of changes in functionally significant structures of the femoral head; goal – improvement of the results of early diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of hip dysplasia in newborns and infants by predicting the course of the disease through the creation of an automated diagnostic program; methods – ultrasound, clinical, anamnestic, statistical; results – computer processing of various parameters for assessing the maturity and stability of hip joints (3568 sonograms), analysis of the dynamics of the average values of these parameters in the process of growth and development of the joint in normal and with varying degrees of pathology, sonographic norm syndromes and varying degrees of hip joint pathology; a technique for diagnosing violations of hip joint formation in newborns has been developed, and a methodology has been improved for a comprehensive assessment of the degree of hip dysplasia in newborns and infants; from the positions of evidence-based medicine, a new information system of the interactive algorithm for diagnosing and treating the pathology of hip joint formation in newborns has been developed, taking into account the feedback principle depending on the results of radiation monitoring, which enables the physician to diagnose and identify an accurate diagnosis at the early stages of the development of the pathological process; to uncover new modern approaches to the use of infrared radiation as a component of complex treatment of hip dysplasia; branch – medicine.
