Valkova K. Genre-communicative peculiarities of the book of travel essays by Illia Ilf and Yevgen Petrov «Little Golden America».

Established, that the book of travel essays «Little Golden America» was written by Ilf and Petrov, not according to the direction of the authorities, but became the fruit of the authors’ will. Implemented the reconstruction of communicative intentions of the authors. Defined, that the genre potential of the book was used for the implementation of three communicative intentions – informational-media, publicistic-cognitive and ideological-propagandistic. Created typology of the genre content of «Little Golden America». Clarified the whole genre-communicative features of «Little Golden America» – this is a documentary rather than artistic and publicistic book of travel essays.
