Essay

The level of distribution of visceral mycoses among poultry has been estimated. The results of mycological studies of feed and air in poultry farms of the Poltava region are presented. The culturally-morphological properties of field isolates of fungi of the genus Aspergillus, Mucor, Rhizopus for cultivation on different nutrient media have been determined. The peculiarities of pathogenesis of mucormycosis for experimental reproduction on white mice were studied. The peculiarities of clinical signs, pathoanatomical and pathogistological changes in poultry for experimental mucormycosis and its associated course with aspergillosis in field conditions are revealed. The sensitivity of field isolates of micromycetes of genera Mucor and Aspergillus to synthetic antifungal drugs was determined. The fungicidal properties of essential oil of monarchy of tubular and eugenol with respect to fungi of genera Mucor and Aspergillus were studied. On the basis of the research, new ecologically safe ways to reduce indoor air pollution by micromycetes of the genus Mucor and Aspergillus have been developed and proved their effectiveness. The antagonistic activity of probiotic bacteria of the Bacillus subtillis group in relation to the fungi of the genera Mucor and Aspergillus was revealed. The fungicidal effectiveness of ultraviolet irradiation with regard to fungi of genera Mucor and Aspergillus has been determined.
