Essay

Dissertation is devoted to semantics of evil and revealing the role of subject's factor constructing in the formation of a literary text and its national variants. From the perspective of the problem of evil it has been done the research of explication of evil in historical and philosophical perspective. The text has been researched as a center of knowledge paradigm in humanitarian sphere. In the dissertation it is stated that in the aesthetic realism the notion of "expression" (G.G.Gadamer) plays the role of theoretical basis, which denotes the subjective self-sufficiency of the creator. The theoretical justification for this provision is romantic "cult of genius". The autonomy of the fields of culture at this stage is a tendency, not an achieved state, and therefore some hypotheses of cross-cultural spheres are possible. The most obvious embodiment of this state of affairs is the Kantian definition of beauty as a "symbol of morality". Final autonomy fields of culture, especially art and morality, shows the formation of such a method of signification as "modernism." Beginning with the aesthetics of romanticism, poetry is grounded as "the highest form of art," which is then fixed in the artistic hierarchy of forms of art by G. Hegel. "Eschatology of art" indicates the autonomy of the artistic field and the formation of "text" and "sign" as basic aesthetic concepts. The literary text becomes a way of organizing the logic of an autonomous artistic field and the basis for the formation of its meaning. The areas of aesthetic paradigm of evil and literary texts have been exposed regarding the specific semantic approach to the problem of evil. The dissertation research examined the nature of the literary text, specificity of the semantic approach, the semantics of evil as the core of a literary text, the typology of evil in the context of Western theoretical thought, national models of evil in Ukrainian and Russian literature. Consideration of creative position of authors such as A. Pushkin, E. Bronte, P. Mirniy, L. Tolstoy, F. Kafka, M. Proust was carried out through the prism of formative and formal character semantics of evil. "Directory of evil" was analyzed in Ukrainian literary anthropology separately.
