The study presents the new improved conception of Byzantine ascetic aesthetics. The author of dissertation points out the great philisophical andaesthetial and value of Christian East asceticism.The futher exploration of history of the aesthetical traditions mustbe considered as one of the most impotant tasksof the modern philosophical and aesthetical discourse. The adequate understanding of the aesthetical doctrines of themedieval Europe as well as of the Rus'Ukraina in particular is impossible withiut taking into consideration the specific features of the Byzantine aesthetics.
