Obodovska V. Human-geographical research of external economic relations of Ukraine and Republic of Poland

Expediency of application of human-geographical approach to the study of external economic relations was determined. Regional Development Strategy of Ukraine and Republic of Poland, which operated until 2015 and existing until 2020 was analyzed. The basic differences and characteristics and the implementation of regional policy in Ukraine and Republic of Poland was established. Contemporary social and economic conditions of transboundary region of Ukraine and Republic of Poland were described. Perspective spreading network of transboundary clusters in Ukrainian-Polish cross-border region was justified. At the regional level foreign trade turnover (goods+services) during 2007- 2015 years was analyzed. Dynamics of investments from Republic of Poland to Ukraine during 2007-2015 years at the regional level was disclosed. The flow of tourists from Ukraine to Republic of Poland voivodship during 2007-2015 years, showing quite positive trend. The strongest and closest external economic relations of regions of Ukraine with Republic of Poland during 2007-2015 years was investigated. The basic prospects of development of external economic relations of Ukraine with Republic of Poland was revealed.
