The thesis is devoted to the development of composition and technology of tablets with herbal extracts as active pharmaceutical ingredients, namely with thick extracts of Motherwort herb and Echinacea roots. The complex of theoretical and experimental research on a study of technological, physical and chemical, microbiological and pharmacological properties was carried out, that allowed to scientifically ground the composition and develop technology of thick extracts and tablets on their basis obtaining. The influence of excipients on technological parameters and quality indices of tablets was determined. The projects of quality control methods for the plant material, thick extracts and tablets on their basis, a project of technological regulation on tablets with Motherwort herb thick extract were developed. The obtaining of tablets with Motherwort herb thick extract according to the developed technology with the proper quality parameters was experimentally approved in the conditions of industrial production for the first time.
