Essay

The object of the research is the process of professional formation of future foreign literature teachers in the system of higher education; the subject of the research is the pedagogical conditions for the training of future foreign literature teachers for extracurricular work with secondary schools pupils on the material of contemporary art; the purpose of the research is to provide theoretical substantiation and experimental verification of the effectiveness of the pedagogical conditions for training of future foreign literature teachers for extracurricular work with secondary schools pupils; methods of the pedagogical research: theoretical - the analysis of philosophical, psychological, pedagogical and methodological literature on the subject of the research, interpretation of theories and techniques; empirical - conversations, questionnaires, tests, pedagogical observations, analysis of creative works, oral and written answers of recipients; pedagogical experiment; statistical - quantitative and qualitative processing of the results; the scientific novelty of the results of the research: the content and structure of the notion of "the readiness of future foreign literature teachers for extracurricular work with secondary schools pupils " were defined, the criteria of readiness of future foreign literature teachers for extra-curricular work with secondary schools pupils were distinguished (cognitive, hedonistic criterion, criterion of cultural self-determination and criterion of readiness for intercultural dialogue) and their indicators and levels (high, average, low) are formulated and substantiated. The pedagogical conditions for future foreign literature teachers training for extracurricular work with secondary schools pupils were developed and experimentally tested (formation of understanding of foreign culture through the prism of integration of national cultures into the world's one; immersion into the modern art basing on the classical one; demonstration of social efficiency of art; the desire for the beauty of communication through the knowledge of cultural diversity formation, the actualization of knowledge, the use of technology in the education) are developed and theoretically substantiated: the following modern types of art, such as photography, comics, graffiti and such forms and methods of extra-curricular activities as heading, photocross, virtual excursion were involved into the educational process.
