Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the research of the features of educational activity and pedagogical views of German teacher-reformer A.Reichwein in the light of sociocultural factors. The state of the level of the study of German reformist pedagogics of the end of the XIX th - the beginning of the XX th century and A. Reichwein's educational activity and pedagogical views is analysed. It is ascertained that, to certain extent, the ideas of some German educators have been implanted in foreign and domestic space. But the course of life, educational activity, experience and Reichwein's pedagogical views, despite his recognition as the classicist of German pedagogics in his home country, have not been investigated in domestic science. On the basis of the analysis of the scientific and pedagogical literature, sociocultural factors and the directions of the development of the leading ideas of German reformist pedagogics of the end of the XIX th - the beginning of the XX th century, which became the background of educational activity and A.Reichwein's pedagogical views, are elicited. The features of educational activity, genesis, factors and the essence of Reichwein's pedagogical views are specified in this research. It is proved, that political orientation, eclecticism and the formation of ideas have made the pedagogical concept of A.Reichwein. It included the system of views , which, taking into cosideration the distinctive characteristics, we devided into goal-directed and processual groups. It is defined, that A.Reichwein's pedagogical views and their spreading in Germany at the end of the XІX th - the beginning of the XX st century is an organic part of the history of pedagogics, modern historico-pedagogical search. The ways of implementation of A.Reichwein's pedagogical views in modern Ukrainian educational system at a strategic, organizational and research level are appointed.
