Kazakevych P. Organizational and legal cooperation of judiciary of Ukraine and the Council of Europe.

Within the dissertation, for the first time in domestic jurisprudence, the legal nature of judicial cooperation with the Ukraine authorities and institutions of the Council of Europe was determined as an effective method of reforming the national judicial system. The mechanism of such cooperation is disclosed by methods and means of cooperation of judicial bodies of Ukraine with the judiciary bodies of the Council of Europe. Tasks for the mechanism of organizational and legal cooperation of the judicial authorities of Ukraine and institutions of the Council of Europe specified as follows: (A) Increasing the authority of the judiciary of Ukraine at the international level; (B) The positive assessment, given by the Council of Europe experts within the powers of judiciary; (C) The interest of the international community and providing the assessment to the changes, which occur during the judicial reform in Ukraine; (D) Providing the recommendations to the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly and other Council of Europe bodies aimed at improving the legislation of Ukraine in accordance with European standards; (E) Implementation of the best European practices in the work of the judicial authorities of Ukraine; (G) The advisory contribution of bodies of the Council of Europe to reform the judicial system of Ukraine; (I) enhance public confidence in the court.
