Essay

Object of the research: mammary gland, uterus and ovaries of female dogs with mastitis and the treatment schedules. Aim of the work: to determine the morphofunctional condition of uterus and ovaries of female dogs with mastitis and work out the methods of complex treatment. Methods of the research: clinical, sonographic, cytological, haematological, biochemical, histological, statistic. Scientific novelty: The suggested treatment schedules based on application of antibiotic therapy and cord blood serum as the biogenic stimulator for female dogs with mastitis are scientifically and experimentally grounded. There is a proof that the endocrine profile disorders in female dogs, particularly the increase of progesterone level during the post-oestrous period, appears to be a favourable factor for the development of pathologies in mammary glands, uterus and ovaries. There is an accomplishment and grounding for the diagnostics of the combined pathology in mammary gland and the reproductive organs of female dogs, with account of the clinical and sonographic signs, haematological and biochemical blood values, cytological and microbiological research of the mammary gland secretion and vaginal discharge. The histological study proves the possibility of transformation of the mammary gland inflammation into hyperplastic and neoplastic processes. The application of cord blood serum in treatment of female dogs with mastitis proves to be effective. The specified acceleration in the recovery of female dogs within 72 hours is confirmed by haematological and biochemical blood values and the results of sonographic monitoring of the mammary gland and the organs of reproductive system in convalescence. Suggested: carrying out an early complex diagnostics of female dogs with mammary gland inflammation as the prevention of hyperplastic and neoplastic processes in the organ. There is a grounding for the appropriateness of the application of cord blood serum as the biogenic stimulator in case of bacterial mastitis in complex with antibiotic therapy. The usage of cord blood serum proves to benefit erythropoiesis, hemoglobin concentration boost and the enzymic complex of blood in clinically healthy animals and females dogs in treatment of mastitis, CEH and cysts of ovaries. There is a suggestion to apply a new treatment schedule of female dogs with mastitis through the application of the antimicrobial medications and the biogenic stimulator - cord blood serum ("The Treatment Method of Obstetrical and Gynecological Pathology and Mammary Gland Diseases in Female Dogs" useful model patent
