Doroshenko O. Reproduction of Julio Cortazar's Discourse Peculiarities in Ukrainian Translation.

The thesis provides a complex investigation of the reproduction of linguacultural, sociolinguistic peculiarities of Julio Cortazar's artistic discourse in translation from Spanish into Ukrainian. The main translation approaches to the discourse phenomenon, in particular artistic discourse, are analyzed and the relevant for the translation features are emphasized. Artistic discourse is defined as a figurative and emotional process during which the artistic reality is forming and perceiving, encoded by the author in the text and decoded by the reader in the conscious.The reproduction of this process in the target culture is provided by the adequate translation of the text as well as the reader's informing about the author's world view and the linguacultural space to which the original text belongs. In view of this issue the specific kinds of translational discourse are determined.
