Essay

Object of research: professional identity of the person. The subject of research: determinants of the professional identity of the person of engineering and technical workers. Research methods. Theoretical: analysis, synthesis, comparison, classification and systematization of modern scientific research, used for generalization of theoretical and methodological foundations. Empirical: conversation, questioning, testing. In order to collect biographical data on respondents, a specially created questionnaire was used. To assess the socio-demographic status of workers, a specially created questionnaire was used, for the diagnosis of family relationships, the questionnaire IO Furmanova and AA Aladin, for definition of individual-personality characteristics - the method of the Hand-test (B. Briklin, S. Piotrovsky, E. Wagner), the method of portrait elections (L. Sondi); questionnaire "Accent-2-90" (MI Vigdorchik); for diagnostics of professional identity - the method "Identity / Marginalism" (EP Yermolayeva); test for diagnostics of professional identity (L. B. Schneider); Authentication methodology - the "Autonomic Scale" technique (AM Wood, PA Linlley, J. Malthie, M. Baliusis, S. Joseph); For estimation of professional success, subjective and objective criteria of estimation of labor productivity were used. Mathematical: calculation of descriptive statistics, correlation analysis (coefficients r of Pearson and rc of canonical correlation), regression analysis (simple linear and simple categorical), nonparametric analysis (U- Mann-Whitney's criterion), modeling by structural equations, confirmatory factor analysis. The mathematical analysis of empirical data was carried out using the statistical software packages of IBM SPSS Amos 22.0.0, IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0.0 and R 3.4.1. The scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the research: for the first time: the professional identity is defined as an important element of the identity system, the dynamic segment self-consciousness, which is the result of professional self-determination of a person; a conceptual model of the determination of the system "professional identity - authenticity - professional success" is created; the role of personal authenticity as a system-forming factor of professional identification of workers of engineering and technical specialties is disclosed, the concept of individual and personality characteristics of engineering and technical specialists is expanded and refined; the data on the psychodynamic determinants of the professional choice of Ukrainian engineering and technical workers in the conditions of development of innovations and high technologies are supplemented; the influence of excessive use of certain styles of upbringing in the childhood (requirements-prohibition, hypo-and hyperprotection) on the authenticity of an adult-professional, the professional dynasties as inheritance of emotional-value patterns of attitude to a certain profession and specialty are considered, the regularities of updating elements of the system of identities in professional activity, which includes high level of energy supply, stability of motivation of achievement, desire to improve its position, improve it, get out limits and easily accessible, the ability to set new goals and solve creative problems. The practical significance of the research is that a scientifically grounded model of professional identity has been tested on a pilot sample of engineering and technical workers, as well as on a control sample of humanitarian specialists, a package of diagnostic materials has been conducted and adapted to determine the level of formation of the professional identity of engineering and technical specialists. The scope of use of higher education institutions, psychological services.
