The object of research: the infantile personality. The subject of the research is the psychological features of the infantile personality radical. Methods of the study: systemic, modeling, theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific primary sources on the subject of research, scientific observation, psycho-diagnostic examination and mathematical statistics. The method of psychodiagnostic examination included a number of psychodiagnostic techniques aimed at studying the main structural components of personality infantilement, namely: 16 factor personality questionnaire R. Kettel, methodology "Level of subjective control" Ye.F. Bazhina, O.A. Golinkina and AM Etkinda, a questionnaire "Study of the actions in the organization of life" Y.P.Kolesnikov, questionnaires "Definition of social creativity of the person" and "Self-assessment of the level of ontogenetic reflection" by MPPhetiskin, VVKozlov, G. M.Manouilova Scientific novelty and theoretical value of the research. First: a 5-factor model of individual-personality characteristics was developed for the definition of the component of infantile manifestations of personality (Interpersonal interaction, Adaptation, Self-esteem, Normative behavior, Emotionality); the infantile radical of the personality as a set of homogeneous psychological qualities is determined, which is based on the internal psychic conditions (peculiarities of the personality, its emotional-volitional sphere and the degree of self-esteem adequacy), the presence of the basic personal radicals and the place of the infantile radical among them (autistic, absorption , infantile, anacastic and neurotic radicals); the place of the infantile radical in the composition of the individual psychological traits of the person was discovered; applied competence approach in the study of infantilism; the structural model of the infantile behavior of the personality (features of the attitude towards the world and other people, externality and social creativity and emotional and volitional manifestations) have been developed; the features of the interaction of the infantile radical with the main characteristics of the personality (social creativity, ontogenetic reflection, internality-externality) are determined; the connection of the infantile radical with the basic personal competencies (external and internal in intra-family relationships, valeological sphere, professional activity, in obtaining material and social status) was revealed and empirically confirmed; the concept of "personal competencies" is complemented by a set of interconnected basic qualities that include the prospects of applying knowledge, skills and abilities not only in qualitative-productive activities, but also in problem situations; got further development of the idea of ??infantile personality. The practical significance of the results obtained is that the quantitative and qualitative data used in the study on the degree of development of infantilism allow organizing educational work with students of junior high school courses, providing them with psychological support in the adaptation period; to conduct educational work with students of the senior classes who wish to find their place in life and to take measures for the formation of personal maturity of the police.
