Shevchenko M. Features of diagnosis and surgical treatment of tuberculosis vaccination complications.

Object - complications of BCG vaccination in children; goal – improve the results of timely diagnosis and treatment of complications of BCG vaccination by conservative, conservative-active and surgical techniques, finding out the effect of different strains of BCG vaccine on the development of complications of antituberculous vaccinations; methods – сlinical, laboratory, instrumental, radiation, statistical; results – in the thesis for the first time the influ-ence of various types of BCG vaccines on the development of complications of vaccination was studied and the informative value of various methods of diagnosing these lesions was determined; the idea of the peculiarities of the current "local" and disseminated complications of BCG vaccination is extended; improved differentiated treatment tactics for managing patients with a complicated course of the post-vaccination period, for which two patents of Ukraine were received; the use of the proposed diagnostic and therapeutic algorithm allows timely initiation of intensive treatment of complications of BCG, optimize indications for surgical intervention and improve the course of the process in the postoperative period, achieve a disability prevention in children after BCG vaccinations; branch – medicine.
