A research object is professional preparation of future artists of the sacral painting. A research aim is a theoretical ground and experimental verification of structural-functional model of forming of professional competence of artists of the sacral painting with the use of innovative technologies. Research methods: theoretical: study and analysis of pedagogical, навчально-методичної, research, religious literature for determination of essence of professional competence of future artist of the sacral painting, her constituents and selection of components of her structure, finding out of possibilities of innovative technologies in relation to forming of professional competence of future artists sacral painting; a synthesis, comparison, specification, systematization and generalization of theoretical and empiric data, assisted the ground of the stages of forming of professional competence of future artist of the sacral painting in the process of studies in church and society establishments of higher education, determination of pedagogical principles and development of criteria, indexes and levels of formed of professional competence for students; empiric: supervision, questionnaire, testing, conversations, analysis of the visited employments for the study of level of awareness of teachers of church and society educational establishments in relation to possibilities of innovative technologies of studies in forming of professional competence of future artists of the sacral painting and readiness to their use in an educational process, for the exposure of level of the use of innovative technologies in professional preparation of future artists of the sacral painting, level of formed of professional competence of students; a pedagogical experiment assisted complex determination of levels of formed of professional competence of future artists of the sacral painting, that did possible verification of efficiency of reasonable structural-functional model; statistical: methods of descriptive statistics, U- criterion of Манна-Уітні for quantitative and quality interpretation of empiric data. Theoretical results: first: the structural-functional model of forming of professional competence of future artists of the sacral painting is scientifically reasonable with the use of innovative technologies of studies, that provides for: having a special purpose, methodological, semantically-organizational, evaluation-effective components; totality of pedagogical terms (creation of professionally-creative educational innovative environment in educational establishment, observance of stage and sequence of forming of professional competence, updating of maintenance of educational disciplines, readiness of teachers to realization of innovative technologies of studies) is certain; criteria but indexes of formed of professional competence of students; it is characterized levels; a concept "professional competence of artist of the sacral painting" is certain; essence of concept "innovative technologies of studies of future artists of the sacral painting" is specified; maintenance, forms and methods of professional preparation of future artists of the sacral painting, is improved with the use of innovative technologies of studies; further development was purchased by positions about realization of competence approach in forming of professional competence of future artists of the sacral painting; innovative methods and forms of organization of educational process are with the use of innovative technologies in society and church establishments of higher studie. Practical results - the structural-functional model of forming of professional competence of future artists of the sacral painting is scientifically reasonable with the use of innovative technologies passed approbation and can be inculcated in the educational process of establishments of higher education; the package of diagnostic materials is neat and adapted for determination of level of formed of professional competence of students; maintenance of educational disciplines of "Technician of the easel sacral painting", "Technician of the monumental sacral painting" is renewed and complemented, "Christian iconography" with the aim of enriching of their teaching by innovative technologies; the authorial on-line tutorial of the special course is inculcated "History and theory of christian sacral art".
