Topographoanatomical, histotopographic, immunohistochemical and morphometric features of mucous membrane glands in human frontal sinus on different walls have been determined. For this purpose, frontal sinuses of 52 dead bodies of both sexes aged from 30 to 87 years, whose deaths were not associated with paranasal sinuses pathology have been examined applying macromicroscopic, histological, histochemical, immunohistochemical, morphometric methods of investigation as well as statistical assessment and systemic analysis. It was determined, that the shape and linear dimensions of the human frontal sinuses had a wide range of individual variabilities. The research data stated the presence of certain histological features in mucous membrane glands of various walls in human frontal sinus. The mucous membrane glands of human frontal sinus walls are complex alveolar-tubular structural components with peculiar regional features. According to immunohistochemical data, it was determined that in glandular stroma of all walls CD 3-positive cells were evident as the local protective barrier elements.
