The research is devoted to the establishment of features of macro-microstructure of the cervix uteri during human ontogenesis, the individual and age anatomical variability, spatial and temporal transformations, morphofunctional features of the cervix with the subsequent definition of critical periods and the time of the possible occurrence of its congenital defects and pathological lesions. For the first time, with the help of modern and adequate morphological methods, a comprehensive study of morphogenesis, typical and variant macro-microscopic anatomy of the cervix has been carried out at various stages of ontogenesis. The critical periods, periods of intense and slow growth in prenatal ontogenesis were defined; dynamics of morphogenesis and syntopic correlation of the cervix with adjacent formations in the 1st, 2nd mature, elderly and aging periods of ontogenesis were specified. Morphological changes in the structure of the uterine cervix and its morphometric parameters depend not only on age but also on anamnestic factors.
