Essay

Object: Socio-political processes in the Russian Federation and Russian-Ukrainian relations in 2000-2012. Purpose: analysis of Ukrainian public opinion on socio-political processes in the Russian Federation and Russian-Ukrainian relations in 2000-2012. Methods: analysis and synthesis, abstraction, generalization, systemic-structural, historical-genetic, chronological, comparative, synchronous, historical hermeneutics, semiotic analysis. Results: for the first time a comprehensive analysis of Ukrainian public opinion on socio-political processes in the Russian Federation of the 2000s was carried out, the vision of the Ukrainian public regarding measures to centralize the power hierarchy in the Russian Federation was clarified, the main approaches in the Ukrainian vision of the Second Chechen military campaign were outlined, the Ukrainian reaction to the beginning and the course of conflicts between Ukraine and the Russian Federation - the confrontation for the island of Kos Tuzla in 2003 and the "gas" wars in the beginning of 2006 and 2009 was investigated, the main Ukrainian visions of Kharkiv agreements in 2010 were highlights; the analysis of the state of research, the source base and methodological basis concerning the study of the reflection of social and political processes in the Russia in Ukrainian public opinion, approaches to the study of the evolution of the domestic political situation in Russia and its foreign policy (Ukrainian vector) in 2000s. Sphere of use: in the activities of the relevant institutions of state power, expert centers, research institutions, as well as for writing generalized works and textbooks on the history of Ukraine, Russia, Russian -Ukrainian relations at the present stage and the development of training programs in higher educational institutions.
