Object of research - gastroenteritis in piglets. The purpose of research - theoretically and experimentally substantiate the preventive effectiveness of phytobiotic EXTRACT™ 6930 in sukling piglets and probiotic TOYOCERIN 109 and phytobiotic EXTRACT™ 6930 in the treatment of weaned animals with gastroenteritis. Research methods - clinical, morphological, physical, biochemical, immunological, bacteriological, pathological-anatomical, pathological-morphological, statistical. Scientific novelty: for the first time data were obtained that characterize the dynamics of metabolic processes, erythrocytopoiesis and leukocytopoiesis, cellular and humoral immunity, microbiocenosis, morphofunctional state of digestive organs in piglets with gastroenteritis, using probiotic TOYOCERIN 109 and phytobiotic EXTRACT™ 6930 in combination with antibiotic (10 % solution of enrofloxacin hydrochloride). On the basis of the study of cellular and humoral immunity and intestinal microbiocenosis, new aspects of the pathogenesis of gastroenteritis in sucklingl and weaned piglets in modern pig complex conditions have been established. For the first time, theoretically and experimentally, the effectiveness of phytobiotic EXTRACT™ 6930 for prophylaxis of gastroenteritis in suckling piglets in industrial production was substantiated. Implemented: the obtained results are used in scientific research and teaching work at the faculties of higher educational institutions of the III-IV accreditation levels. Sphere (industry) of use: veterinary medicine
