Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the socio-philosophical study of the processes of mythologization, de- and remythologization in the modern Ukrainian society that is in the period of transformations caused by the Revolution of Virtue and the "hybrid war". It is penetrated philosophical analysis of the process of mythology, as well as the preconditions and aspects for the implementation of the processes of de-remythologization in Ukraine. The essence of mythologization is disclosed and the authors' definitions of the leading concepts of the research are presented, that are: "mythologization", "social myth", "mass", "mass consciousness", "demythologization", "remythologization". The feature of mythology in the Ukrainian socio-cultural space is examined. It is noted that the most mythical and dangerous for the reproduction and preservation of the new national identity of the Ukrainian nation was the external mythologization of the socio-cultural space of Ukraine, provoked by centuries of statelessness and the colonial status of Ukrainian lands. In particular, this also applies to Soviet mythology. The work finds out and analyzes the determinants of social myth creation, including communicative, epistemological, psychological, social, cultural, political and ideological. There are proposed conditions and methods for the implementation of the de- and remythologization of mass consciousness in Ukraine. It is justified that at this stage, both processes are chaotic and grassroots, that is, people's character. The author shares remyphologization, depending on the type of socio-political system, critical and uncritical. In general, the methods for implementing de-and remyphologization are similar, and the educational and educative strategy must be purposefully designed for both processes aimed at developing the capacity for critical thinking and restoring the constructive elements of historical memory. Precisely the knowledge and critical thinking that are the main factors in counteracting negative mythologization
