Drozich I. Forming Occupational Competency of Future Cooks in Vocational Education Institutions

The thesis is dedicated to the problem of forming future cooks’ occupational competency in vocational education institutions. The outlined problem has been analyzed based on scientific pedagogical knowledge. The components of futurecooks’ occupational competency have been outlined and justified.Some aspects of Ukrainian and foreign experience in training future cooks have been described. Organizational and pedagogical conditions for forming occupational competency of future cooks have been theoretically justified and experimentally tested.The model, methodology of forming occupational competency of future cooks and the educational and methodological support of the outlined process have been developed and implemented into the teaching and production process of training future cooks in vocational education institutions.
