The pedagogical conditions of the future teacher of primary school training for the formation of social competence of junior pupils were grounded for the first time in the dissertation. Specified the components (motivational, cognitive, active and personal), criteria (value-motivational, knowledge-information, operational-active and personal-socializing) and indicators; characterized the level of readiness of the future teacher of primary school to the formation of social competence of junior pupils: professional-active, productive-efficient, situational-search, reproductive-partial. Clarified the essence of the key concepts of the research, namely: «social competence», «competence», «socialization», «social intelligence», «social competence of the junior pupil», «training of the future teacher of primary school for the formation of social competence of junior pupils» and «readiness of the future teacher of primary school for the formation of social competence of junior pupils». The training of the future teacher of primary school for the formation of social competence of junior pupil is defined as the process of forming his/her knowledge, skills and abilities of professional activity, which will successfully socialize junior pupils and promote their formation as active subjects of social reality in the future. Under the readiness of the future teacher of primary school to form the social competence of junior pupils, we mean the component personality formation of the future teacher, uniting in its structure the motives of professional activity, knowledge, his social intelligence, practical skills, experience regarding the socialization of junior pupils and their formation as active subjects of social reality and ensures the success of the social competence development of pupils in his future professional activity. The model of training of the future teacher of primary school for the formation of social competence of junior pupils is developed and tested, which covers: the theoretical block (purpose, approaches, principles), content-technological (stages, content, forms, methods), the effective block (components, criteria, levels, corresponding result). Analyzed the condition of readiness of the future teacher of primary school for the formation of social competence of the junior pupil. A confirmatory experiment was conducted, the results of which were confirmed by the reproductive-partial and situational-search levels of readiness of the future teacher of primary school to form the social competence of the junior pupil, which was supposed to be increased by substantiating and implementing the necessary pedagogical conditions: stimulating the motives and needs of the future teacher of primary school in the socialization of junior pupils through the use of active methods and forms of training; the acquisition of social intelligence of the future teacher of primary school on the basis of updating the content of professional disciplines; activation of practical experience of students in formation of social competence of pupils in the process of extracurricular activity. The implementation of pedagogical conditions was carried out during the formative experiment, which included updating the contents of educational disciplines and the application of various forms, active teaching methods. According to the results of pedagogical conditions’ realization in the process of formative experiment in experimental groups determined the professional-active level of readiness of the future teacher of primary school for the formation of social competence of the junior pupil by motivational, cognitive, personal, active components and reproductive-partial and situational-search levels in control groups. The results of the research indicate dynamic positive changes in the readiness of the future teacher of primary school for the formation of social competence of junior pupils under the influence of the proposed pedagogical conditions.
