The dissertation for getting a scientific degree of the candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, speciality 13.00.04 – Theory and Methodology of Trade Education. – Drohobych State Pedagogical University by Ivan Franko, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Drohobych, 2018. The dissertation has explained sense of the game as a complex sociocultural phenomenon, revealed the peculiarities of usage of the game for educational purpose, characterized didactic games and educational gaming technologies that are used in the educational process of primary school. On the one hand, educational gaming technologies are understand as the set of methods, means of organizing the educational process in the form of various didactic games with a clearly defined goal and appropriate tasks, that are characterized by active educational and cognitive orientation, and on the other – these technologies are used as innovative educational and methodological tools for improving the efficiency of educational process. It has been found that a clear structure, understandable for perception, samples of source instructions (game prospectus; script; description of gaming situations; instructions for players and teacher; vocabulary of terms) facilitate the independent design of new educational gaming technologies, designing them as methodical developments and realization in professional activity. It has been developed the structural scheme of a typical educational gaming technology, which contains a systematically ordered set of interconnected and interdependent components, stages of development and documents that regulate it. The study has considered the category «readiness» and psychophysiological mechanisms, which integrate its separate structural components into the integral quality of the individual. The structure of the readiness of future teachers of primary classes to usage of educational gaming technologies identifies following main components: motivational, cognitive and operational. Formation of the readiness of future primary school teachers to usage of educational and gaming technologies is an integral pedagogical process of acquiring students the knowledge, skills, values, competencies and experience of developing, organizing and conducting didactic games, which allow to intensify and diversify the educational activity of junior pupils. The structural-functional model of forming the readiness of future primary school teachers for the usage of educational gaming technologies contains four main blocks: target, content, procedural, effective. It has been revealed and substantiated the complex of pedagogical conditions, that contributes the effective implementation of a structural and functional model of forming the readiness of future teachers of primary classes to the usage of educational and gaming technologies in professional activities.
