Essay

Matter: process of professional training of future agrarians; Aim: to substantiate theoretically and experimentally test the effectiveness of the pedagogical conditions for forming future agrarians’ sociocultural competence in the process of Humanities study; Methods: analysis and comparison of pedagogical sources on the research problem; generalization and synthesis of scientific knowledge on the concept of „sociocultural competence", structure and content of components of sociocultural competence; analysis and generalization of normative documents of the agrarian higher educational establishment with the aim of elucidation of mechanisms of forming future agrarians’ sociocultural competence, definition of pedagogical conditions for forming future agrarians’ sociocultural competence; questioning, surveys, testing for the purpose of determining the state of forming future agrarians’ sociocultural competence, pedagogical experiment; quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results of the study to generalize the data of experimental work, the method of statistical hypotheses (criterion χ2) to reveal the statistical significance of the results obtained; Novelty: the pedagogical conditions for forming future agrarians’ sociocultural competence in the process of Humanities study were defined, developed, theoretically substantiated and experimentally verified: implementation of professional motivation of future agrarians’ educational activities to mastering sociocultural competence; actualization of interaction and cooperation of future agrarians in the process of Humanities study; applying information and communication technologies in the process of forming future agrarians’ sociocultural competence; the essence of the concept " future agrarians’ sociocultural competence " is determined; the concept and categorical apparatus is specified, in particular: the concept of "competence", "sociocultural competence"; structural components of future agrarians’ sociocultural competence (motivational and value, cognitive, activity and behavioral, personal); theoretical positions regarding the criteria, indicators and levels of future agrarians’ sociocultural competence; the content, forms and methods of forming future agrarians’ sociocultural competence in the process of Humanities study have been further developed.
