The dissertation reflects the results of scientific research on the professional growth of future junior nursing specialists in the educational environment of the medical college.
For the first time, pedagogical conditions were substantiated (stimulation of future nursing specialists' motivation-value attitude towards professional activity through independent extra-curricular work; use of educational facilities of the school (content, forms, methods, technology) for obtaining special knowledge, professional skills, involvement of students to practical professional activity during the practice of accumulation and transfer of professional experience) professional growth of future young people nursing professionals in the educational environment of the medical college.
The model of professional growth of future junior nursing specialists was developed in the educational environment of the medical college, consisting of several blocks: the methodological-target (purpose, approaches, principles), content-procedural (stages, content, forms, methods, technologies), evaluative-productive (criteria, indicators, levels, corresponding result).
On the basis of definite criteria and indicators, the level of readiness of future junior nursing specialists to professional activity is highlighted, medium and low.
The essence of the key concepts of the research has been clarified, in particular: "professional growth of future junior nursing specialists in the educational environment of a medical college" is understood as a process of creation of favourable conditions for such training, which provides the development of personal qualities and professional skills aimed at helping the patient and includes the ability specialist to perform specific professional tasks of examination, diagnostics, manipulation techniques, appointments of a doctor, observation and care of patients, as need of nursing care, the development of professional activities that facilitate physical and mental suffering of the patient and thus facilitate their entry into society as carriers of personal and social values and self-realization in view of the specific professional activity; "The readiness of future junior nursing specialists to professional activity" is denoted as a complex structural-system education, which allows a specialist to successfully perform his professional duties, using existing experience, knowledge, personal qualities; characterized by resistance to the effective performance of nursing activity, manifested in endurance and stress tolerance, tolerance and responsibility, in altruism and empathy towards the patient, which involves the desire for professional self-improvement, focus on professional growth.
A confirmatory experiment was conducted, which showed the prevalence of low level of readiness of students in the control and experimental groups, which was supposed to be increased by identifying and implementing the necessary pedagogical conditions.
As a result of the analysis of the results of the forming stage of the experiment, the positive dynamics of students' readiness levels in the experimental group was proved. Thus, the high level has increased by 17,4%, the average ‒ by 20,4%, the low has decreased by 37,8%. In the control group: the high level increased by 1,2%, the average ‒ by 2,0%, the low decreased by 3,1%.
The results of the study indicate positive dynamic changes in the readiness of students of experimental groups under the influence of the proposed experimental innovations.
