Lekhniuk R. Ukrainian conservative environments in Galicia in the first quarter of the XX century: national and political aspect.

The meaning of the concept "Ukrainian conservatism" in Galicia of the first quarter of the twentieth century was researched. The place of the Ukrainian conservative environments of Galicia in the context of the existing typologies of conservatism is outlined. The theoretical basis of the conservative worldview in the Ukrainian society of Galicia is analyzed. The main ideas of conservatives in the socio-economic sphere are considered. The political practices of Ukrainian conservative groups are described. The activities of the key figures of the conservative groups are studied. The relations between Ukrainian conservative environments of Galicia and the Great Ukraine are investigated. The conservative environments of Galicia in the context of the intellectual space of the Austrian part of the Habsburg monarchy have been analyzed. The influence of the First World War and geopolitical changes in Central and Eastern Europe on the worldview and political practices of the Ukrainian conservatives of Galicia is considered.
