In work the theoretical, legal and organizational beginnings of public prosecutor's supervision of observance of laws at the initial stage of pre-judicial investigation are investigated. Are defined a role of the prosecutor at this stage. Changes in this activity of prosecutors in a context of reforming of the initial stage of pre-judicial investigation are analyzed. The system and types of powers of the prosecutor are in details considered at implementation of supervision of observance of laws at the initial stage of pre-judicial investigation. Features of their implementation of rather single questions of law enforcement at the beginning of pre-judicial investigation are analyzed. Scientifically reasonable offers on improvement of a legal regulation of public prosecutor's supervision of observance of laws at the initial stage of pre-judicial investigation, also on increase of efficiency of its realization are formulated.
