Essay

Object: the development of professional-pedagogical competence of college teachers; aim: to scientifically ground and experimentally check the model of teachers’ professional-pedagogical competence in the system of scientific methodological work of the college; methods: retrospective, comparative, system analysis of scientific sources to compare different opinions on the researched problem, specify notional-categorial apparatus of the research, definition of the idea, structure, contents of the professional-pedagogical competence of the teacher, criteria of its component development; projection, modeling for the research programme and the creation of the researched competence development model; pedagogical observation, conversations, interviewing, questioning, surveying, assessment (expert- and self-ones), standardized methodologies to highlight developments levels of the researched competence components; pedagogical experiment to check the grounded model; methods of mathematical statistics to process the experiment results processing; novelty: the model of teachers’ professional-pedagogical competence development in the system of scientific-methodological college work has been formulated that contains statutory-relevant, organizational-comprehensive, diagnostic blocs, their characteristic, formation and competence development of educational paradigm stages have been defined; the idea (integrative personal formation, which is based on professional and pedagogical knowledge, skills, experience, professionally important personal qualities and provides success of teaching functions in standard and non-standard conditions), the structure of the researched competence, criteria of its component development, organizational forms and methods of teachers’ professional-pedagogical competence development in the system of scientific-methodological work of the educational establishment, peculiarities of the professional-pedagogical environment functioning and its correlation with the integral educational environment of the educational establishment have been defined.
