Musienko V. Formation of the patriotism feeling among children in pre-school educational institutions of Ukraine (1930-1991 y.y.).

The dissertation research presents the problem of raising children in the spirit of Ukrainian patriotism as a problem of modern preschool pedagogy; its theoretical-methodological and psychological-pedagogical principles are determined; categorical apparatus of research is specified. The evolution of the preschool institutions` system in Ukraine (1930-1991 years) as a factor in the formation of patriotism in preschoolers has been followed. The specifics of the content, methods, forms and means of pedagogical work with children in the formation of patriotism at each of the specified periods are revealed. Pedagogically appropriate principles of patriotism are formulated (moral and patriotic values, collective interaction, unity of mental development and activity of the child, taking into account age-specific characteristics of preschoolers, subject-object relations, native environment, centralized-democratic management, balance of state interests and the child`s), also author outlines ways of their creative application in preschool educational institutions of Ukraine through the improvement of preschool children development programs. The conceptual-categorical apparatus on the problem of children`s patriotism forming is specified.
