Thesis for a Pedagogical Sciences Candidate Degree in Speciality 13.00.04 – Theory and Methods of Professional Education. – Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv national pedagogical university, Hlukhiv, 2018. The thesis deals with the problem of future agricultural technicians’ professional competence forming at the agrarian colleges. The present state of future agrotechnicians’ professional competence forming in pedagogical theory and practice is clarified; the essence of the concept “agrotechnicians’ professional competence” and its structural components are specified, the criteria, indicators and levels are determined. The pedagogical conditions of future agrotechnicians’ professional competence forming were revealed, theoretically grounded and experimentally tested. They are: creating the educational environment based on personally and practically oriented teaching technologies; improving the content of future agrotechnicians’ practical training at agrarian colleges; modernizing the system of control and evaluation of future agricultural technicians’ achievements. The model and methodics of future agrotechnicians’ professional competence forming at agrarian colleges was developed. An experiment was carried out, which proved the validity of the revealed pedagogical conditions of future agrotechnicians’ professional competence forming at agrarian colleges.
