Dakhno L. Age and sex peculiarities of the bone structure of the alveolar process of the upper jaw in ontogenesis.

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the structure peculiarities of the bone tissue of the cellular process of the upper jaw in persons of mature age of different sex and the laws of its age reorganization, on condition of the tooth row integrity. Using the complex of methods of morphological research (computer tomography, anthropometric, morphometric, mathematical, statistical), the features of the structure of the cellular process of the upper jaw in the male and female individuals were studied, and the regularities of its reconstruction in the age aspect were determined. On the basis of these three-dimensional computer tomographic studies, various forms of the alveolar and basal arches of the cellular process of the upper jaw in individuals of different sex have been classified, the frequency of their occurrence and combination variants have been analyzed.Branch - medicine.
