Essay

In the thesis, theoretical generalization and new ways for solving the scientific problem of development of future fine arts specialists’ artistic and aesthetic taste in the process of studying profession-oriented disciplines have been presented. The analysis of leading approaches to identifying the essence and the content of artistic and aesthetic taste of the individual has contributed to determining the key definition of the research, namely, artistic and aesthetic taste of future fine arts specialists – this is the basic component of the artist’s professional activity characterized by the ability to selectively, reasonably and appraisingly act toward cultural and artistic phenomena and works of art and the ability to design their own creativity in accordance with the universal values based on the laws of beauty and artistic literacy. The structure of future fine arts specialists’ artistic and aesthetic taste has been developed, which is represented by the following components: emotional with a perceptive and affective criterion; cognitive with a gnostic and associative criterion; evaluative with an axiological and evaluative criterion; communicative with a communicative and speech criterion; creative and activity-based with a praxeological and creative criterion.
