Object of the study - the training process of canoe slalom athletes at the stage of initial training. Purpose of the study - improvement of the training process program canoe slalom athletes at the stage of initial training. The following methods of scientific research were used in the work: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature on the problem under study, Internet data; pedagogical methods (questionnaire survey, pedagogical observation), general testing (push-ups, pull-ups, bending the trunk from the lying position for 1 minute, running for 30 meters (s), Cooper test, jumping rope for 30 c) and special (time of passing upstream gate, the eight laps time of passing a distance of 100 m) the physical preparedness of canoe slalom athletes; biomedical methods (spirometry, Stange test, Genci test, heart rate measurements, Skibinsky index, Rufie's test) methods of mathematical statistics. The scientific novelty of the study is that for the first time: the groups of muscles that provide the execution of the main elements of the technique ("straight strokes", "guide strokes", "hooks", "feed rejection", "roll") and additional technical elements ("stumbling from the stern", "breaking" support "," displacement "," semiconductor "," underflooding of hull and bow"," support of the stern "," traverse "," pulling the stalk "); the interrelation of the basic and additional technical elements with motor qualities and muscular groups at young canoe slalom athletes of 10-11 years; correlation links between indicators of physical and technical preparedness and morphofunctional parameters of young canoe slalom athletes of 10-11 years; determined duration and number of repetitions, and performing strokes elements slalom equipment in a training session with the motor actions affecting fatigue processes; improved canoe slalom exercise program at the initial stage of preparation, by learning the basics art slalom rowing, which is based on certain muscle groups, providing performance art elements and sets of exercises and develop their; application techniques for learning motions structure canoe slalom; as well as to increase the specially-preparatory phase summer training (2 to 4 months) in order to adapt the body to the long-term athletes training process. Confirmed data on: expediency in teaching the technique of execution of strokes to use a holistic method, since their previous division into parts violates the parameters of the motor action being performed and, as a consequence, the coordination basis of the movement. The existing developments for: determination of the priority of the development of the driving qualities of canoe slalom athletes; the expediency of using technical communication, which must be carried out depending on the individual level of preparedness of the athlete: "upstream gates" ("guide strokes" - "curtains" - "straight stumbling", "throwing stern" - "guide strokes" - "hook" " direct stroke "-" hook "-" straight strokes ");" Stream gates " ("straight rowing" - "guide strokes", "guide strokes" - "hook" - "guide strokes", " throwing stern" - "guide strokes") and their combinations; need for specially-developing exercises to improve physical and functional training: downhill for a while, to overcome water obstacles, passing slalom track sections of various lengths, rowing against the tide, and others. The results of the work are introduced in the Specialized Children Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve "Mayak+", Canoe slalom Federation of the Kharkov Region, Specialized Children Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve" FED "in rowing sports, Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture.
