The purpose of the study is the theoretical substantiation and argumentation and experimental testing the technologies of teaching the technique of sporting methods of swimming for children aged 8-10 years with cerebral palsy. The object of the study is the process of training the technique of sporting methods of swimming for children aged 8-10 years with cerebral palsy in the groups of initial sports training. The following scientific and practical methods have been used: analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, a sociological survey, anthropometric measurements, determination of level of swimming training and education, underwater video shooting, computer video analysis, method of expert evaluations, pedagogical experiment and mathematical statistics. The scientific novelty of the results of the study is that for the first time: the structure and content of the technology of teaching the technique of sporting methods of swimming (the front crawl and backstroke) of children aged 8-10 years with cerebral palsy has been developed taking into account motor impairments and kinematic characteristics of qualified swimmers; a web-based information system “Swim CP (Swimming with Cerebral Palsy)” has been developed, which is appropriate to use in the teaching of the technique of swimming the front crawl and backstroke for children aged 8-10 years old with cerebral palsy at the initial stage of sports training; the kinematic characteristics of the technique of swimming the front crawl and backstroke of qualified swimmers with cerebral palsy have been determined. Data has been supplemented and expanded with regard to: analysis and generalization of practical experience of swimming with children with motor impairments; definition of initial swimming readiness of children with cerebral palsy; level of mastering a swimming technique by of the technique of the front crawl and backstroke swimming of children with spastic forms of cerebrovascular disease and its efficacy; differences in the content of the training process with athletes of different forms of cerebral palsy (spastic diplegia, hemiparticular form). Data is verified for: level of physical development of children with cerebral palsy; kinematic characteristics of swimmers with cerebral palsy at the initial stage of sports training. The results of the work are introduced in the training process of swimmers with cerebral palsy at the stage of initial training: Sumy Regional Center for Physical Culture and Sport of People with Disabilities "Invasport"; Kharkiv Regional Center for Physical Culture and Sport of People with Disabilities "Invasport"; Sports club of Sumy State University; in the educational process of the Chair of Theory and Method of Sport of the Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko and the Chair of Physical Education and Sports of Sumy State University.
