Essay

The thesis research offers an innovative solution to the topical applied research task of development of models and methods of multiple-criteria choice of the optimum functional purpose of the redevelopment project product. The thesis aims to enhance the efficient management of redevelopment project through the development of models, methods and information technology for the identification of the optimum functional purpose of the redevelopment project product. In the furtherance of this goal, the research proceeded as follows: study the contemporary project and program management methods; complete the systemic overview of regulatory framework applicable to the sphere of development and redevelopment project management; analyze and summarize the redevelopment projects classification; formalize the contents of every stage of the redevelopment project life cycle; develop a model of reciprocal influence of the elements comprising the turbulent environment of the redevelopment project in the course of interaction with the redevelopment project; develop methods to model and to find the solution to the task of identification of the optimum purpose of the redevelopment project product in clear language; adapt the tools of the theory of utility, to build a dynamic investor utility function in the context of a choice of functional purpose of an immovable property object; formalize the expertise of professionals in identification of certain functional purpose of the redevelopment project product on the basis of mathematical tools of the fuzzy set theory and fuzzy logics; and develop and execute the infological model of the information and analytical system of support in making decisions on identification of functional purpose of the redevelopment project product.
