Shatalova Y. Corporatocracy in a Risk Society

The dissertation is dedicated to the study of the phenomenon of corporatocracy in a risk society. This paper represents one of the first attempts in Ukrainian philosophy to comprehend corporatocracy as a socio-philosophical phenomenon on the basis of explication of mechanisms of its functioning in a risk society. Theoretical comprehension of ways in which corporatocracy as a new type of power affects global economy and the existential state of a person makes it possible to create a concept of riskogenics not only as a marker of a modern society, but also to demonstrate the riskogenics of the human nature, which allows variations with subjectivity. During the study found that the corporatocracy in a risk society through manipulation, uses humanity for its own purposes, creating more dangerous and uncertain living conditions of a person. The obtained results form the basis for further philosophical conceptualizations of sociality and can be used in the educational process during the preparation of general and special courses in philosophy, social philosophy, political science, sociology, as well as in the development of special courses for bachelors, masters and postgraduate students.
