The water areas of drilling platforms placement in the Azov-Black Sea basin are analyzed. The method of determination of ice loading on the basis of neural network technologies is developed. The model of prediction of ice formations in the water area of the drilling platform installation is obtained. A neural network model was developed to predict operating loads on existing drilling platforms. The method of calculating ice loads on drilling platforms by means of artificial neural networks is improved. The design of drilling platforms has been improved taking into account wind-wave and ice loads in the conditions of the Azov Sea.
