The thesis is devoted to the substantiation of theoretical and methodical principles of forming of future employees’ of Penitentiary Service readiness to execute punishments not related to imprisonment. The model of forming of future employees’ of Penitentiary Service readiness to execute punishments not related to imprisonment and its structural elements: purpose, components of readiness, pedagogical conditions, tasks, forms, methods, means, pedagogical approaches, principles, stages, criteria, evaluation indicators of levels of readiness formation, expected result are substantiated. The essence of basic concepts of the research is scientifically substantiated and the structural components of readiness (target, content, activity, effective), criteria (motivational, oriental, cognitive, designing, intellectual, reflexive, evaluative, integrative) and indicators that help to reveal the levels of forming of future employees’ of Penitentiary Service readiness to execute punishments not related to imprisonment (high, sufficient, average, low) are determined. The effectiveness of the model of forming of future employees’ of Penitentiary Service readiness to execute punishments not related to imprisonment in higher educational establishment is experimentally proved.
