Essay

Object: the process of training future engineers-teachers in higher education institutions. The purpose is to scientifically substantiate, theoretically develop and experimentally test the model for the formation of readiness of future engineers-teachers for vocational and pedagogical design. The scientific novelty is in the following: for the first time the model of forming the readiness of future engineers-teachers for vocational and pedagogical design has been developed, substantiated and experimentally tested. It consists of the purposeful unit (goal and prediction), conceptual and methodological unit (methodological approaches, principles, pedagogical conditions, components of readiness for vocational and pedagogical design), didactic and methodological unit (content, methods, forms, means and stages of the process of formation of the readiness for vocational and pedagogical design), program-organizational unit (criteria, parameters, levels of readiness for vocational and pedagogical design and tools), analytical and correction unit (measurement and evaluation results and corrective-development activities). The criteria, indicators and levels (low, medium, high) of the future engineers-teachers' readiness for vocational and pedagogical design are defined. The essence of readiness of future engineers-teachers for vocational and pedagogical design and its structure is clarified.
