Essay

The dissertation provides a comprehensive scientific-theoretical analysis and proposes a historical and pedagogical solution to the problem of the development of the Renaissance experience of education and upbringing in the European youth policy of the Order of the Jesuits in the early Modern time. The realization of the Renaissance-humanist ideas of the target, value-pedagogical, fundamentally semantic, structural-content, methodological and organizational-pedagogical principles of the youth policy of the Jesuits are traced. Socio-cultural conditions and socio-pedagogical determinants, stages, levels, directions, tendencies, peculiarities and contradictions are analyzed, the character and the regularity of the integration of Renaissance and pedagogical ideas into the European youth policy of the Jesuit Order are established. The significance of the development of the Renaissance experience in the education and upbringing of Jesuit’s youth policies is determined, and the prospects for interpreting its content in the current conditions of education and upbringing development are outlined.
