Essay

The thesis presents the theoretical and experimental study of the problem of training an elementary school teacher to monitor their own professional activities. A scientific analysis of the problem in pedagogical theory and practice was carried out. The essence and content of the preparation of the primary school teacher for the monitoring of professional activity are revealed. The modern tendencies of preparation of the future teachers of initial classes for this kind of activity are prone. Based on the study of various approaches to understanding the key definitions of the thesis, the essence of each of them is refined, which allowed to substantiate the concepts of "training a primary school teacher for monitoring his own professional activity", "readiness of a primary school teacher to monitor professional activities", outline its structure, identify components: motivational-value (a system of humanistic values in the educational process and positive socio-value systems for monitoring); cognitive-operational (mastering knowledge-values of the structure and functions of pedagogical activity, the system of skills necessary for effective monitoring); (high, medium and low), the criteria, indicators and levels of preparedness of the future teachers of the primary classes for monitoring professional activity are determined, the organization, methodology and results of the conducted pedagogical experiment are stated, analysis of which witnessed a significant increase in the indicators of high and medium levels of preparedness. Dents experimental groups compared with the control experiment results confirmed the effectiveness of the developed model.
