Levkiv S. Tendencies in the formation and development of the public ecological movement in the process of interaction with general educational institutions

The dissertation is devoted to research of tendencies of formation and development of public ecological movement in the process of interaction with general educational institutions. The theoretical foundations of the studied problem are described: the historiography and the source base of the research are analyzed, the analysis of the conceptual-categorical apparatus is carried out, the methodological approaches of the research are highlighted. The influence of the public ecological movement on the process of formation of the outlook of the younger generation is revealed. The content, forms and methods of interaction of the public ecological movement with the general educational institutions are revealed. The preconditions of the emergence of the first public environmental organizations are determined. The main tendencies of the formation and development of the public ecological movement in the process of interaction with the general educational institutions are outlined. Based on the generalization of the domestic and foreign experience of interaction of the public ecological movement with the educational institutions, the perspective possibilities of influencing the concept of sustainable development for the dynamics of the investigated process are described. The possibilities of creative use of the principle of volunteering in the organization of joint activity of the public ecological movement and the general education school in forming the ecological competence of schoolchildren are determined.
