Essay

In the academic paper, the comprehensive study of health care in the Volhynian Voivodship in 1921-1939 was carried out. The organizational structure and functioning mechanism of the Polish health care model were traced back. Organization of medical assistance of the population of Volhynia and health protection work of the state, self-government authorities and the public was reconstructed. Functioning of health establishments in the Volhynian Voivodship was analyzed. The role of medical public organizations in health care during the Second Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was determined.
