Object - chronic colostasis in children; goal – improving the efficiency of diagnostic and therapeutic measures in children with impaired bowel movements through the introduction of new methods for prediction, prevention and surgical treatment based on the study of the anatomical and functional factors of chronic colostasis with the development of a diagnostic and therapeutic algorithm; methods – clinical, laboratory, instrumental, mathematical modeling, morphological, statistical; results – clarify data on the factors of the de-velopment of chronic colostasis of organic genesis in children have been specified; a method for diagnosing the pathological mobility of the colon has been introduced into a comprehensive program for diagnosing chronic colostasis of organic genesis; expanded understanding of the quantitative and qualitative morphological features of the structure of the extrasensory nervous system of the rectal wall in fetuses of different gestational age; scientific data on the structural organization and morphological structure of the aboral department of the rectum and perineum in children with high anorectal malformations are supplemented; developed a highly informative method for the topical diagnosis of the height of fistulous forms of rectal atresia; a minimally invasive method for correcting fistulous variants of anomalies in girls while maintaining the integrity of the external anal sphincter has been developed and implemented; based on the study of the histological structure of the rectovestibular fistula, which can be regarded as an ectopic anus, intraoperative modeling of the anorectal fold is suggested as one of the elements of the physiological relief of the distal large intestine; based on the study of the histological structure of the rectovestibular fistula, which can be regarded as an ectopic anus, in-traoperative modeling of the anorectal fold is suggested as one of the elements of the physiological relief of the distal large intestine; proposed a model representation of the change in the size of the anorectal angle under the influence of the loss of function of the anal-coccygeal ligament; branch – medicine.
