Essay

The state of a scientific problem implementation was clarified, the research sources were analyzed, its conceptual-categorical apparatus was systematized; the main factors and stages of development of social medical care for children and adults in Halychyna at the end of 19th and 30?s of 20th century were determined and characterized; the features of medical care, content, directions, forms and means of public medical education of the Ukrainian population of the region during the specified period were revealed and disclosed; conceptual foundations and productive experience of health-oriented public initiatives for children and adults of Halychyna in late 19th and 30?s of 20th century were outlined, which should be creatively applied to modern conditions in Ukraine.
