Essay

The dissertation surveys secondary teachers' professional development in Australia. The theoretical foundations of professional development of secondary teachers' professional development in Australia were investigated. The terminological apparatus has been investigated. The key concepts of the research "development", "professional development", "teachers' professional development", "organizational and educational conditions", "organizational and educational conditions of secondary teachers' professional development" are defined. The analysis of scientific sources allowed identifying constructive approaches and models of secondary teachers' professional development which enabled the implementation of new concepts of secondary teachers' professional development in Australia and demonstrates a neoteric view at the problem.
