This thesis work attempts to reveal the essence of future foreign languageteachers' awareness for monitoring activity being an important professional newdevelopment of their personality as consciously acting organizers, dispatchers andguarantors of quality foreign language teaching, which is deemed important for thefuture teachers' capability to plan, implement, correct and assess the results achievedduring relevant educational tests carried out; it is also believed to be linked with theability to forecast the perspectives of further monitoring research by means ofintegration of the relevant legal-regulatory and psychological-pedagogical data,practical skills and experience in pedagogical monitoring, exposure of the humanisticvalues and moral-ethical features during the evaluation of quality of foreign languageteaching as well as personal achievements of its main participants. The structure ofthe phenomenon under study which functions as a unity of 3 main components(theoretical-cognitive, operational and value-definitive) has been defined and therelevant criteria (the "contents-based", the "technological" and the "orientational")and markers (quality of professional knowledge in the theory of monitoring-basedresearch in the sphere of foreign language teaching; the level of mastering the leadingmethods of assessment of the educational process; the degree of motivational attitude20to the role of a foreign language teacher as the organizer, dispatcher and expert inquality foreign language teaching) and its levels of formation – have also beenelaborated and described. The effectiveness of the pertinent pedagogical conditions(the intensification of the role of the pedagogical monitoring and organization ofrelevant pedagogical educational research-based activities within the framework ofpedagogical disciplines studied; the support of professional development of a teacheras the participant, organizer and dispatcher of quality foreign language education andmulti-cultural upbringing) as well as the experimental model designed to enableeffective formation of future foreign language teachers' awareness for monitoringactivity, – have been substantiated and approbated.
